About us

I’m Laura Kaine, the mom behind the idea of this website. I’m an expert parenting writer and the mother of June (10) and Jack (4).

With some parents I met on different online parenting forums (when I was looking for help with my daughter June) we gathered our experiences, applied several parenting programs, made a selection together and launched Your Parenting Help to spread the word about these programs in order to help parents like us choosing an appropriate parenting method. These programs worked with our toddlers, children and teenagers, even with the ones who had strong behavior problems. This is why we have been very particular about the quality of the programs we recommend.

We still see so many parents who are struggling with their children and don’t know how to gain respect, build a strong relationship with their kids and give them tools for the future. Well we didn’t either! But we acted upon that and are glad we did.
